BYUH Games to Be Web-Streamed Live From Alaska

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — All seven games from the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball West Regional tournament will be televised live and video streamed over the Internet for free at goseawolves.com as well as NCAAsports.com.

In their first game, the BYU-Hawaii men's basketball team (18-7) will take on second-seeded Cal State San Bernardino (22-7) at 12:30 p.m. (HST) on March 14 in Anchorage.

It should be a great first-round match-up between two NCAA tournament-savvy and experience squads on both teams. The winner will advance to the semifinal matches to be played the following day.

In other BYU-Hawaii men's basketball news, three players received post-season honors from the Pacific West Conference this week, with Lucas Alves getting the top honor as Conference Player of the Year. Alves was also named to the All-Conference First Team along with teammate Paul Peterson, while Corey Nielson was given Honorable Mention honors by the Pac West.

Alves was also honored with a spot on the 2008 Daktronics All-Region Team for the West Region of NCAA II play. He received All-Region All-Academic honors earlier this year.
