More About ROTC Courses

Air Assault Course

Students of the Air Assault School have to have a specific level of accomplishments and abilities in order to be considered. Before a student is selected to attend the Air Assault School, he or she must meet the following minimum entry requirements:

  • Completion of the MS II year of ROTC
  • Pass the Army Physical Fitness Test
  • Demonstrate ability to do at least 6 pull-ups
  • Receive an approved Army/Air Assault Physical within 18 months of attendance
  • Instructor Nomination

Since attendance at Air Assault is both mentally and physically challenging, the Professor of Military Science (PMS) will assess each applicant, with special emphasis on overall physical fitness and the maturity level to attend and complete the course.
