On Tuesday, March 18, 2014, students and the campus community will gather in the Cannon Activity Center for the weekly Devotional. The speaker for this particular devotional is Sheri L. Dew. Dew is an author of several books, including biographies of two presidents of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a member of the General Relief Society Presidency of the Church from 1997-2002. She was named CEO of Deseret Book Company in March 2002 and currently serves as a member of both the BYU Marriott School of Management’s National Advisory Council and the President’s Leadership Council for BYU–Hawaii.
Her Devotional is entitled “Planting Seeds of Greatness” and will discuss developing good habits to build a stronger testimony. For those who cannot attend the Devotional, it will be streamed live.
For those wanting to hear more from Dew, the 2014 Annual Global Leadership Gala Dinner will be that same day at 7 PM in the Aloha Center Ballroom, where Dew will be honored with the Global Leadership Award.
