A Path to Professionalism

The International Institute of Professional Protocol (IIPP) is coming to Brigham Young University–Hawaii on April 28-30, 2016. Presenters and trainers include CEOs and other prominent leaders who will provide students with world-class professional development and training. Barbara Barrington Jones, business woman, professional speaker and image consultant – whose foundation sponsors the conference – encourages students from all disciplines to prepare for professional situations in advance, and this unique conference does just that.

IIPP is sponsored by the Barbara Barrington Jones Family Foundation which strives to help the students of Brigham Young University–Hawaii to become the Genuine Gold that David O. McKay saw among the students and alumni of the university. Attending this conference will help attendees gain critical skills to become their best and prepare with confidence to give back to their communities and contribute in their chosen fields.

Alfredo Solar, who is now running a successful chocolate factory in Mexico City, attended IIPP while he was a student. “[It] was an eye-opening experience for me, an investment that has changed my life forever! I highly encourage all students to attend, no matter your major.”

As students apply the professional guidance received from the IIPP conference in their educational and professional relations they will develop in character and integrity and stand out to prospective employees. Individuals within our diverse student body will each benefit from the opportunity to discuss with and learn from the qualified CEOs and Directors that will be at the conference.
